I am not a graphic artist but I do enjoy creating various designs for different projects. I am self taught in photo shop 7 and have recently upgraded to PS5 and Illistrator. I have never used Illistrator before and I’m finding it difficult to learn, its great to find helpful YouTube tutorials such as yours.
I followed your clip on creating swishes and swirls which was easy to follow and very useful however I found that when I went back into illustrator the newly created brush was not there. I followed your instructions to a tee but it’s definitely not there or it’s somewhere I’m not looking, can you offer any advice. Also a can you recommend anyway I can learn more basics on illustrator?
Kind regards
Steve Perceval
Hey Steve, I was thinking about doing something like that, but I’m not sure what people are looking for specifically. Adobe has a really awesome resource site here: http://tv.adobe.com/show/learn-illustrator-cs4
Check that out and let me know if you find what your looking for. And if not, let me know what I can cover that they haven’t.
Hey Ryan, can you please upload this video to the youtube, vimeo, or anything that supports html5 playback? I’m not able to view the Flash content.
Thanks
Filip
Try that, I think I fixed it now Fillip!
