I don’t know if you’re a fan of “The Walking Dead” like I am, but I’ve followed the show and broke down and decided to start reading the comic books. I loved this close up of Rick Grimes from Issue #2, so I decided to stay up way to late one night and using the comic as reference, recreate the art in Illustrator. I feel like I got it almost right, though not perfect, and the background is really an over simplistic cop-out. Either way, it took me about 1 hour 30 minutes in Adobe Illustrator, and I’ve sped it up to a lean 6 and a half minutes or so. Enjoy.
